Veronica Civa
Sea & Landscapearchitect
Visual Artist
I work at the intersection of sea and landscape architecture, art, and biodiversity, where research and creative processes are combined to deepen understanding, communicate, and manage the sea, coasts, and surrounding landscapes.
My fascination with the blue landscape unfolds through projects, lectures, exhibitions, and stories – in the meeting point where sea and land come together in a dynamic interplay. For me, the coastal zone is a living, experiential space where we can protect, restore, and reconnect with nature.
My projects are rooted in nature-based solutions, biomimicry, and artistic exploration, where I listen to the stories of the sea – from local histories and generational wisdom to mythological narratives that deepen our understanding of the seascape and the threads that bind us to nature.
