Guest Lecture / University of Copenhagen / April 2026
As part of the course “Big Blue Nordic: The Sea and the Coast in Nordic Literature” at the University of Copenhagen, Veronica Civa / HAVLAND was invited to give a guest lecture on April 21, 2026.
The presentation introduced selected methods from the ongoing project BLUE VOICES – A Poetic Atlas of the Sea and explored how artistic and spatial practices can contribute to new ways of relating to the sea beyond analytical and theoretical frameworks.
The session combined a short lecture with dialogue and participatory exercises centred around listening, voice, experience and ecological relation.

Et oplæg, der undersøger, hvordan kystbeskyttelse kan gentænkes som levende landskaber frem for teknisk infrastruktur.
Marine økosystemer som ålegræsenge, stenrev og vådområder anskues som integrerede elementer i kystdesign,
hvor de samtidig fungerer som stormflodssikring, biodiversitet og offentlige rum.
Med afsæt i Øresunds dynamikker peger arbejdet på en tilgang,
hvor der designes med havet – frem for imod det.
